Why We’re Skipping Tulsa in 2026
In today’s video, I wanted to be completely transparent and explain why we won’t be in Tulsa for the Chili Bowl Nationals or the Tulsa Shootout this year. This wasn’t an easy decision. Tulsa has been a huge part of my January the past few seasons — from racing the Chili Bowl, to competing in the Manufacturer’s Throwdown, and experiencing everything that comes with one of the toughest weeks in dirt racing. I’ve had some great moments there, some tough lessons, and a lot of memories that I’ll always appreciate. Ultimately, this came down to preparation, priorities, and planning for the biggest season of my career. With a heavy focus on wing sprint car racing in 2026, an earlier start to the season, and opportunities for international racing, I felt it was important to step back this year, reset, and put myself in the best position moving forward. This video breaks down my history in Tulsa, what went into the decision, and why this doesn’t mean I’m done with the Chili Bowl — just that I want to return the right way, prepared and ready to compete at the highest level. Thanks to everyone heading to Tulsa this year — have a blast, enjoy the week, and drink a beer for me. We’re gearing up for a massive 2026 season, and I can’t wait to bring you guys along for it. 👉 Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and comment your thoughts below. Sprint Car Racing: New Zealand vs America – SHOCKING Differences
In this video, I’m breaking down the biggest differences between sprint car racing in New Zealand and what we’re used to here in the United States. Earlier this December, I spent two weeks on New Zealand’s South Island racing sprint cars alongside a group of fellow Americans. We ran four race nights, traveled across the island, and got to experience not only their racing culture but also one of the most beautiful countries I’ve ever seen. From the way Speedway New Zealand governs racing, to how race nights are run, car rules, safety inspections, numbering systems, and even prize money — everything down there operates a lot differently than it does in the States. In some ways it’s more structured, and in other ways it feels like the Wild West with how open the rules are on the cars. I also talk about: How Speedway New Zealand runs the entire country’s dirt racing The War of the Wings series and how it compares to U.S. tours Scrutineering, driver safety checks, and race-night procedures Open tire rules, dished wings, wicker rules, and car setup freedom How nominating for races works and why it matters The big differences in purse and prize money What surprised me the most racing overseas On top of the racing, this trip was an unforgettable experience — from checking off bucket-list tracks like Cromwell and Ruapuna to bungee jumping, jet boating, and seeing the incredible scenery New Zealand has to offer. Huge thank you to B-Mac Racing for taking us in and making the trip feel like family, and to all the New Zealand fans who treated us so well. If you enjoy sprint car racing, travel, or seeing how the sport is done differently around the world, you’ll enjoy this one. Thanks for watching — we’ll see you in the next video.
