3 New High Limit Racing Rules!
High Limit Racing and the World of Outlaws are rolling out important rule changes for the 2026 season, and some of them are going to have a major impact on restarts, points racing, and how races play out. In this video, I break down the new High Limit Racing rules including: The Turn 4 restart cone for both double-file and single-file restarts The elimination of the traditional front-stretch cone Major work area changes, with time now limited to flat tires only Provisionals being capped at two per race, limiting feature sizes to a max of 26 cars We also talk about a quiet rule change from the World of Outlaws that wasn’t heavily publicized — the removal of the marked tire rule, allowing teams to run any approved Hoosier at any point during the night. As a 22-year-old rookie touring full-time with High Limit Racing in the Buch Motorsports No. 13, I share a driver’s perspective on why these changes were made, how they’ll affect racing, and what fans should be watching for during the 2026 season. This is the kind of stuff you’ll notice at the track and on FloRacing, and it’s going to shape how teams approach qualifying, restarts, and points battles all year long. Thanks for being along for the journey — we’re just getting started.
