Saturday at the Knoxville 410 Nationals was one of the strangest and most unpredictable race days I’ve ever experienced. From weather concerns and early start times to rolling off in the D and C mains, the whole day carried an atmosphere of uncertainty. We made the most of our laps, learned a lot about our program, and even picked up a unique D Main trophy along the way. While the week didn’t end how we hoped, I’m proud of the progress we made, grateful for the help of Ty Wolfgang and my team, and thankful for the fans and partners that make this journey possible. Knoxville proved once again why it’s the greatest event in dirt racing — and now it’s time to regroup, head west, and keep building. It’s Hard Knox Friday at the Knoxville Nationals — one of the most intense nights of the week. With over 70 cars fighting for just four “golden ticket” spots into Saturday’s A-Main, every lap matters. We came into the night sitting 27th in points — just one spot shy of being locked in — which meant this was our shot to fight our way forward. From qualifying to the heat race and battling in the mains, we gave it everything we had while continuing to learn and adjust with the 18T. Not the night we hoped for, but that’s the Knoxville Nationals. Proud of my team for digging deep, trying changes, and never giving up. We’ll keep working to get better every time we hit the track.
